ECSA FALL BALL SEASON

The Emerald City Softball Association’s Fall Ball Season is generally played on Saturdays. Fall Ball is a great opportunity to meet new people, build skills, and have fun. Fall Ball teams are determined by the Fall Ball Director once registration has closed. Individuals are divided into several teams with a goal to equally distribute skill levels as evenly as possible. This is done by mixing up all skill levels, pitchers, outfielders, infielders, and new players.

2021 SEASON INFO & DISCOUNT CODES

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! The 2021 Fall Ball Season is set to be played each Saturday starting on September 11 through October 16. During that time, a costume/potluck day and a new players clinic will be hosted during and/or after the play day. If a rain out occurs, the day will not be made up. Games will start at 10am and the last start time will depend on the number of teams. Each team will be scheduled to play at least two games with no more than three on a Saturday. All games will be played at North SeaTac Park, with fields opening at 9am. Rainout games will not be made up.

When registering, you will have the opportunity to provide the name of up to two players to be considered on the same team.  It is recommended to have your friends write your name in for consideration. Teams are built by separating positions, ex: outfielders, infielders, pitchers, etc. and will have 13-16 players on each roster. It is not a guarantee that you will be placed with the individuals listed, but and up to the directors discretion when splitting players among different teams based on experience, position and skill level.

Fall Ball also allows for players to be picked up to play on other teams. If your game is done and another team needs players, you are welcome to join them. Each team needs to have 8 players to play a game and sometimes they are short players. The goal, of course, is to have a minimum of 10 players for each game. If you cannot commit to playing at least 4 of the 6 weekends, we’d suggest paying per day as a pick-up player. The pay-to-play is $20 per day and you do not have to pay until you’ve been picked up on a team. At that time, you must be registered on the site as a pick up player and have signed the waiver. Proof must be shown to the director before stepping onto the field.

Fall Ball would like to thank your biggest sponsor, WaterRock Global Asset Management. General registration fee is $65 per person for the season. The fee pays for field rentals, umpires, shirts, and light snacks/water/ice brought to the fields each weekend.

However, thanks to our sponsor, this season Fall Ball will have a different fee structure to provide those who would like to play at a lower fee rate. This new fee structure also includes an option to pay more if a player wishes to assist another with their fees. With the financial hardships the past year and a half have left people in along with a certain amount needed to play the season, we will be offering discount codes!

When registering you will need to put in a discount code to the amount you are able or willing to pay. Current registration fee will be set to charge you $130 (the amount for 2 players). YOU MUST ENTER A CODE FOR A DISCOUTNED PLAYER FEE.

Additional Discount Codes:
The following codes are intended for players who may have experienced hardship and would like to opt-in to play at a lower fee. Additionally, this is also an opportunity for players who would like to pay their standard fee and assist another player with theirs as a donation.

Registration will have a soft close on August 23 for team building and uniform ordering. The hard close date will be August 29, 2021.
