| Updated 02.06.2021 – Virtual Town Hall will now be held on March 2nd from the original date of February 16th Dear ECSA Members and Supporters, The last letter I penned to the league was for reasons that none of us would have hoped for — canceling our 2020 Season. Today I am happy to report that this message is being written to let you know that I am feeling more confident as the days go by that we will be able to have a 2021 Season. Because of this, the executive board has been making plans to provide a safe, fun, and competitive season for our members in 2021. In my time as your commissioner, your safety has been in the forefront of my mind. From the decision to cancel last year’s season to procuring league branded masks. Protecting our membership from COVID has been my number one priority. With that in mind, the board has been hard at work preparing a “Return to Play” plan, creating policies and procedures to allow for the safest environment at the fields. Once it’s complete, we will share this with our membership. I also understand that this last year brought a lot of hardship to many of our members. From the loss of economic stability to isolation, there have been a lot of issues that our membership has been dealing with. To assist with those issues, the ECSA will look to provide new resources for our membership to allow as much participation and support as possible. Lastly, I want to invite all of you to our upcoming Virtual Town Hall where we will be expanding on our upcoming plans and answer some of your questions. This is to be held on Tuesday, March 2nd at 7:00 PM. Please use the link below to register and submit up to three questions that we will respond to either in the Town Hall or via email response. A link to the meeting will be sent to you ahead of the meeting date. |
