In light of the recent letter penned by the Texas Governor, in conjunction with the opinion of their Attorney General on gender-affirming medical care to minors, the ECSA Executive Board wants to reaffirm our constant support to our transgender community. We want to acknowledge and validate the feelings and/or trauma that these actions have on our membership. As we continue on our journey with the development and implementation of diversity, inclusion and belonging, please know that the ECSA stands against any form of discrimination, hate or anti-transgender movement. At this time, we encourage you to reach out to your transgender teammates, friends and family to check on their wellbeing.

We will keep our membership informed of any information and decisions we have resulting in these discussions.
